Discover the best of Peru’s southern coast on an unforgettable full-day tour that combines stunning marine wildlife, rich wine culture, desert adrenaline, and unique landscapes. This tour is designed for travelers seeking a complete, personalized, and energetic experience.
This full-day tour begins very early, between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m., with pickup from your hotel in Lima (Miraflores or San Isidro), heading to Paracas, where the first great adventure awaits: the group tour to the Ballestas Islands. Aboard a motorized speedboat, you'll travel across the ocean to discover the mysterious geoglyph known as El Candelabro and a wide variety of marine wildlife, such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, boobies, and pelicans, in a unique natural spectacle that lasts approximately two hours.
After the boat trip, we continue to Ica. There, you'll visit a traditional winery where you'll learn about the traditional winemaking and pisco-making process, as well as enjoy a delicious tasting of their finest products.
Afterwards, you'll have free time for lunch on your own
before heading to the Huacachina oasis, where the
most exciting part of the day begins: a ride across the dunes in
powerful ROVs (all-terrain recreational vehicles, Polaris and Can-Am brands) and sandboarding. This
experience combines adrenaline, breathtaking scenery, and a
total feeling of freedom.
Afterwards, we'll return to Lima, stopping in
Chincha for a final tasting of local liqueurs and sweets.
Your estimated arrival at your hotel in Lima is around
9:30 p.m.
An intense, full day filled with unforgettable moments
From Puerto Maldonado (Peru), you take a boat up the Madre de Dios River (about 3-4 hours). Sometimes you also travel along a dirt road for about 40 minutes; it's part of the Amazonian adventure.
Yes, it's suitable for families, but the difficulty level is moderate (hiking), and it's recommended to bring insect repellent and sunscreen. Activities at lodges generally meet international safety standards.
